Meet Steve Parrott

After working the first 20 years in healthcare HR, sales, and management, I didn’t realize I was being prepared for something greater. It wasn’t until 2000 when my mother-in-law was diagnosed with ALS, and we spent two difficult years caregiving long distance while still trying to manage a young family.

The seed for this calling was planted much earlier. On a hot summer day back in 1983, while mowing my neighbor’s lawn, my mentor described needing care one day and then probably continued care for his beloved bride about 30 years later. He told me how successful I could be if I figured all this out. Never would I have imagined that we would end up caring for his wife for close to 2 years exactly as he planned.

RetireEase Senior Services was founded by Julie-Ann and Steve Parrott in 2003, inspired by their journey caring for Julie-Ann’s mother, who was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease in 2000. Witnessing the challenges and complexities of providing care to a loved one in need ignited their passion to make a difference in the lives of other families facing similar situations.

Our Community Commitment

RetireEase Senior Services is blessed to support several charitable causes and partner with non-profits to help seniors and caregivers who struggle with meeting their daily needs and cannot afford premier care.

We help families of aging veterans get care when they need it most. We are most proud of our reviews and consistently positive feedback from clients and families who appreciate the peace of mind we bring to their loved ones.

Steve is active in the community and enjoys being part of a mentor program for at-risk youth to help them develop life skills and provide emotional support to hurting kids from broken homes. He is an active member of his church and strives to uphold Christian biblical values in his personal and professional life, guided by Matthew 25:39-40: “And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you? And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.'”
Outside of work, you’ll likely find Steve on or near a golf course passionately trying to break par.
